I am a filmmaker and visual storyteller motivated by curiosity about people, nature,
and the global world. I began my filmmaking career as a co-founder of the creative platform ten-thirty while studying Anthropology in Amsterdam.
After helping to establish a community project in Hamburg, going on long journeys with an unknown destination, working as a manager of a successful restaurant, and making my first short documentary, Guardian of the Valley, I moved to the UK to study documentary directing at the National Film & Television School.
I directed and shot documentaries about various subjects, exploring some of the most defining and significant decisions that fascinating people make in life. My work screened at international festivals and has been nominated for the Grierson and International Documentary Association awards.
Seven years ago, I discovered a passion for editing and post-production and have since been dedicated to helping organisations tell their stories to the world. I currently work as a freelancer with NGOs, educational institutions, production companies,
and corporate clients in the UK and abroad.
